Open House – In Between Seasons

“And before you know it, Christmas is here” – it sure happened again this year: Feels like we just started our seedlings in the greenhouse, but the year went by fast. We sure enjoyed it. Last year around this time we were already in the greenhouse, chatting over some Stollen and hot Apple Cider – with a solid snow cover outside. This winter sure has a mild start and it looks greener than we could ever imagine. We’re still picking salad greens, some cauliflower and broccoli are still growing outside.  Fields are covered with rotted manure and straw, a new berm is in the making in the orchard. But see for yourself. Come on by and let’s talk about our experiences and how we can go forward from here.

Saturday, December 16, 2pm to 4pm

Do you have a garden? What is it doing now in the winter?  Do you use cover crops or mulches? What do you still have growing outside? We’d love to hear from you. Want to know how we do farming here?  Come on over. Everyone knows something and knowledge is best shared among all of us. In that sense, we’re inviting you to our  “OPEN HOUSE – In Between Seasons” event this Saturday,December 16. Come on by anytime between 2pm and 4pm. We’ll show you around the farm and serve a few seasonal treats in the greenhouse.
